About Us

The merger of Sing Arowanas Pte Ltd (est. Sept. 2006) and Pang Long Pte Ltd (est. Sept. 2005) under the parent holding company Fu Long Holdings Pte Ltd took place in April 2007.  This consolidation embodies a concerted effort by both companies to form a cohesive, dedicated and professional team that will be able to take Fu Long Holdings Pte Ltd to the next level of Arowana farming in Singapore.

These fairly new ventures were created by a group of like minded individuals who saw an investment opportunity and the potential in breeding Arowanas in this emerging market.  These are exciting times with the opening of new markets like China where the potential is broad. 

Our vision is to build a sustainable breeding program which will be able to meet the expected worldwide growth in demand for Arowanas.  Our strategy is to utilize the extensive breeding experience that our employees have gained since the establishment of the industry in the 1990s. 

We have implemented innovative pond designs to sustain several generations of Arowanas, and state of the art incubation facilities to minimize the morality rates, resulting in higher yields.  We also have a rigorous genetic selection process in place to ensure high quality offspring, which is continually being refined and results in the superior quality fish that we produce.

In addition to servicing wholesalers, we sell direct to hobbyists in Singapore.  We have also introduced a new service tailored to the needs of these clients -- the Arowana Hotel, where owners can leave their fish under our care if they need to be away from home for extended periods.

We are now one of the largest farms in Singapore, with an exceptional Arowana fry yield.  We continue to strive for excellence in quality and constantly seek new technologies that will help us to innovate and stay above the industry standards.
